Your mission
- Ongoing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts)
- Checking, coding, and posting incoming and outgoing invoices
- Preparation and processing of payment transactions as well as monitoring outstanding receivables, including dunning
- Account reconciliation and clarification of discrepancies
- Assistance with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Collaboration with tax advisors and controlling
- Ensuring proper documentation in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) as well as maintaining receipts and contracts
- Optimization of accounting processes and assistance with the implementation of digital tools

What to bring
- Completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on accounting/finance
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Very good knowledge of HGB as well as basic tax understanding
- Confident use of accounting software and MS Excel
- Experience with digital, paperless accounting processes is an advantage
- Structured, careful, and conscientious way of working
- High sense of responsibility, discretion, and a flair for numbers
- Independent, solution-oriented way of working with strong teamwork skills and very good German skills (English is an advantage)
